2010 is Over!

So the weather changed and it turned out that December 13th was our last show of the year and what a show it was! Joe Cottiss came in for an interview and performed a duet with the haunting Didi Bergman! Wheels were to join us on the 20th for the final show however the snow kept us all at home but the silver lining is that we hope Wheels now join us for the first show of 2011 on January 10th!!
2010 was awesome, Brandon and I moved form Saturdays to Monday evenings so we lost Paul but you can still here him on Friday afternoons. SO we were lucky enough to replace Paul with the ever so popular and funny Grace! She has stepped in brilliantly and she now helps make the show what it is!
And later in the year a young an named Jake joined the team making it complete, We have big plans for Jake (fresh meat)!
A big thanks to all our guests this year The Decca's, Archie Wah Wahs, Sophy J, Firstborn Heroes, Onlookers, Zephyreus, Bob Collins, Joe Cottiss, Didi Bergman, Stuart Turner and The Flat Earth Society, The 286, Oliver form Theatre Royal, Phil Dillon form Medway Eyes, Steve from Periplum and Andrew Day form the brilliant news paper The Medway Broadside.
We held a small concert to raise money for Haiti in March so a big thanks to Bob Collins, Dave from The Flowing, Archie Wah Wahs and Black Market Karma for that.
Some of the best gigs we came to and met listeners include Lupen Crooks and The Flowings album launches great gigs and even greater albums!!
We have to mention the brilliant ME2 album as this has given us a wish list of future guests for the show. If you haven't yet got it go to the Medway Eyes website donate and download now!
Of course if no one listened we would be just 4 people talking rubbish in a small room. And so thanks to all who listened and listened again (big thanks to Brandon the Producer for sorting that one out).
We have big plans for 2011 not just for our show but for the whole Radio Sunlight as we push towards going FM by June. We will need your help for this!
We also plan on starting The Fire to help all the local bands be seen from afar! That is of course a metaphorical fire and any band related burnings are entirely coincidental.
We have a list of guests already interested in coming down next year Wheels, Van Susans, Didi Bergman and some old guests with new material shall return including The Decca's and Archie Wah Wahs!
